Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 5:30-8:30 PM
A brand-new film is coming to the giant screen at The Nat, and we want you to be among the first wild things to see it. Join us Wednesday, November 20, for a special event that includes a VIP reception, filmmaker talk, and screening of San Diego: America’s Wildest City.
San Diego: America’s Wildest City is a beautiful new hour-long TV special that will air on PBS Nature in early November. An abridged, 40-minute version of this film will debut in The Nat’s giant screen theater starting November 22. The show reveals the hidden wonders of the country's most biodiverse urban landscape, where humans and wildlife collide in spectacular fashion. From the dramatic rituals of grebes and the playful antics of ground squirrels to the thrilling hunts of orcas and the moonlit spawning of grunion, this film proves that San Diego’s heartbeat is as wild as it is wonderful. This special event is hosted by The Nat in partnership with KPBS and Day’s Edge Productions.
